This course is designed to introduce

qualifications and restrictions for practicing the business of contracting in
the state of

the purpose and responsibilities of qualifying agents, financially responsible

rules of advertisement, business records requirements, prohibitions of
contracting, and the penalties associated with the violations of each.

violations and their penalties.

will be evaluated on their comprehension of the material covered by administering
three (3) short multiple choice quizzes upon which successful completion is
required before advancement to the next segment of the course is allowed and

Intended Target Group:
Means by which the course will
demonstrate interactivity between the student and the instructor. The course material is presented to
the student utilizing a narrated PowerPoint presentation by the course
instructor. The students are encouraged
to contact the instructor at any point in time with questions or comments about
the course material, and are shown access to an email link to do so.
Demonstrate that the course measures
learning and addresses comprehension of content. The course measures learning and student comprehension by
requiring the completion of three (3) learning exercises composed of five (5)
questions each. The quizzes are
interspersed throughout the course, and their successful completion is required
to continue and complete the course for credit.
Means by which the provider is able
to monitor student enrollment, participation and course completion. Course material is restricted to
enrolled students whose identity has been verified through personal log-in
information. Student participation and access to each section is recorded in a
secure database. Credit for the course is only given upon successful completion
of each individual module along with fulfillment of the minimum course
participation and time requirements.
Demonstrate that the stated course hours
are consistent with the actual hours spent by each student to complete the
course. The course presentation platform does
not allow the student to fast forward through the program. The course is narrated from beginning to end
and the course duration is 60 minutes; which has been outlined in the attached
timeline. It is not possible for
students to skip through the presentation to quicken the class; it must be
viewed once in its entirety for completion and credit.
Means by which instructors will respond
to student inquiries and provide instructional support. Questions and comments are encouraged via email; however
phone support is also available during regular office hours. Students will be responded to promptly and
courteously.
Means by which student ID is
verified.
Each student
must supply their License # and Mother’s Maiden Name when they purchase the
course material, that information is required again after course completion in
order to obtain credit for the course.
Students will be required to complete
a statement at the end of the course indicating that he/she personally
completed each module of instruction. A student affidavit has been
developed for the course, which must be agreed to by the student in order to
obtain credit, and has been attached below for your convenience.
