This course was designed as an instructional primer for Construction Professionals to educate on the federal regulations governing intellectual property and its protection. Design and construction professionals have an inherent position in experimenting with new materials, exploring various techniques to achieve a desired result, and implementing progressive technology to streamline work activities. It is important that these professionals understand how to patent and/or copyright their ideas and trademark commercial logos and slogans.
