This course is designed to provide Professional Engineers with and overview of Intellectual property rights. Part 2 of the course highlights the trademark registration process and the classification of goods and services. It also pinpoints the process and procedures for obtaining copyright protection and the types of work that are eligible for copyrighting. It closes with a brief discussion on trade secrets and open source material.
