This course is designed to provide engineers a thorough understanding of how the Department of Energy and private companies are working to develop new, energy saving technologies that are changing United States industry. Part 3 of the course focuses on emerging technologies that are expected to become commercialized within the next several years. These promising technologies will save energy and secure America’s energy security and economic health. The course describes, in depth, the potential energy saving benefits of each technology, its goals, and DOE project partner.
